Physiotherapy

Jessica graduated from Queen’s University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has also completed training in orthopaedics, manual therapy, myofascial release, yoga instruction and acupuncture, and is a Certified Acupuncture Practitioner by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. She continues to gain knowledge by pursuing a wide range of post-graduate education courses and has a special interest in injury prevention for runners, as well as posture-related pain. Jessica is a native Calgarian and returned to Alberta shortly after graduation. Her physiotherapy practice focuses on a holistic treatment approach including manual therapy, acupuncture, therapeutic exercise prescription and education. Jessica is mindful of her client’s time and having an appropriate work/life balance. She provides an open, easy-going and friendly space for her clients to complete their tailored treatment programs. Jessica’s treatment approach tends to be more hands-on, with education to provide clients with an understanding of their injury and an active treatment approach.

In 2017, Jessica began her mobile physio service. She is very proud to grow this practice and develop relationships in the neighbourhood she calls home. Besides chasing her kids, she also enjoys yoga, golf, obstacle races and volleyball; she rowed crew for the University of Victoria and Queen’s University and continues to enjoy staying active. She looks forward to helping her clients get back to THEIR healthy lifestyles and activities by providing a treatment plan tailored to their goals.
